Rav Zalman Gittleman

Having taught at Yeshivas Torah Temima in Brooklyn and Pachad Yitzchak in Har Nof, Rabbi Gittleman's learning and teaching experience is the most traditional of our staff. He has been involved with Jewish education since 1981 and holds a baccalaureate degree in computer science.

At Derech Etz Chaim, R' Zalman leads a vibrant chaburah of shana bet and gimmel students who engage each sugya with intensity and zeal. This interactive format allows students to discover the depth of Gemara, Rishonim and Achronim and encourages them to appreciate thorough, systematic learning.

The father of nine children, Rabbi Gittleman is a longtime resident of Har Nof who has never been seen on a tiyul.
