Rav Moshe-Eliyahu Rosenbaum

Having learned in some of the world's largest yeshivos and possessing an MBA from the College of Notre Dame in California, Rabbi Rosenbaum brings a unique blend of experiences to DEC. Prior to making aliya in 1999, Rabbi Rosenbaum worked in the European textile industry and taught at Beit Sefer Yavneh in Antwerp, Belgium.

At Derech Etz Chaim, Rabbi Rosenbaum teaches an afternoon bekious shiur to students who are shana bet and beyond. During first-seder, he learns privately with one select student each year.

A charming European, R' Moshe Eliyahu's influence extends well past the walls of his shiurim. He hopes to impart that a Torah life can include involvement in the secular world and serves as a fine example of such a synthesis.
