Rav Aharon Katz, Rosh Yeshiva

With a broad background in Jewish education, Rabbi Katz is acutely aware of what can be accomplished in one short year. Holding a B.A. in Education and having directed programs for the Canadian Zionist Federation and the World Zionist Organization, R' Aharon is most proud of his relationships with R' Yaakov Weinberg z"l and R' Moshe Halberstam z"l from whom he obtained semichas. more

Having learned in some of the world's largest yeshivos and possessing an MBA from the College of Notre Dame in California, Rabbi Rosenbaum brings a unique blend of experiences to DEC. Prior to making aliya in 1999, Rabbi Rosenbaum worked in the European textile industry and taught at Beit Sefer Yavneh in Antwerp, Belgium. more

Having taught at Yeshivas Torah Temima in Brooklyn and Pachad Yitzchak in Har Nof, Rabbi Gittleman's learning and teaching experience is the most traditional of our staff. He has been involved with Jewish education since 1981 and holds a baccalaureate degree in computer science. more

From Boston to Yerushalayim, Rabbi Wolff's road to Derech Etz Chaim has turned from Kerem B'Yavneh to Mir, then to Yeshiva University and back to Mir. With a baccalaureate degree in Psychology and semicha from Yeshiva University, Rabbi Wolff relates well to those students who aspire for such accomplishments.more

From humble beginnings, R' Betzalel worked in the fields of accounting and actuarial sciences to meet the expense of college, all the while maintaining his commitment to learning Torah. As a staff member of Camp Morasha and Sportstar Academy, Betzalel cultivated his interest in reaching out to young adults.more
