DERECH ETZ CHAIM STAFF
At Derech Etz Chaim, Rabbi Rosenbaum teaches an afternoon bekious shiur to students who are shana bet and beyond. During first-seder, he learns privately with one select student each year. A charming European, R’ Moshe Eliyahu’s influence extends well past the walls of his shiurim. He hopes to impart that a Torah life can include involvement in the secular world and serves as a fine example of such a synthesis.

Having learned in some of the world's largest yeshivos and possessing an MBA from the College of Notre Dame in California, Rabbi Rosenbaum brings a unique blend of experiences to DEC. Prior to making aliya in 1999, Rabbi Rosenbaum worked in the European textile industry and taught at Beit Sefer Yavneh in Antwerp, Belgium.
